Trevor!

Again these pictures are from my phone from the last few months.
New down suit from Grandma Dance for his birthday! It worked very well for stroller rides when it was sold. He loved it and was a little confused by the hood!
Trevor's favorite toy! We bought this slide in Madison for Brennan during the winter months when it was too cold to go outside. It's been a favorite every since.
 Loves his toy cupboard!

Loves swings! He gets so mad when I take him out of the swings. He could swing all day.
He also loves his milk cup!  Whether milk or water Trevor loves this straw cup.
Cars sure keep this boy busy. He loves to play with Brennan's trains and cars on our train table. This is no different at the children's museum with the ramp for cars to race.
Trevor loved the train at the children's museum. He has been on it a few times when he was younger with Brennan (since I have to ride with Brennan and since Trevor has to ride with me) but it had been a while (try 5months??) He loved looking around trying to figure out what he was riding on.
Doggies!! Trevor is obsessed with dogs. We bought him the little gold dog in the upper right for Easter. He can't get enough of it.  Surprizingly enough he can say doggie! Of course in his 14 year old talking, but he's got the d and g sound in there! He woofs like dogs every time he sees one in person, in a book, or a stuffed animal.
At the zoo with Dad. Looking at the wolfs in this picture! Trevor's favorite animals at the zoo.

Brennan!

Here are some pictures I've finally uploaded from my phone. They have been taken over the last few months. They are mostly of Brennan and all his crazy adventures.
Brennan loves the dump trucks at the children's museum. He could play there the whole time if I let him. We need to find him a big dump truck to play with outside our house.
Loving wheelbarrow rides from Dad! Brennan does a pretty good job holding onto Trevor so he doesn't fall out.
These pictures are all taken on different days with Brennan's "mail bag". My sister made this and sells them in her  Etsy Shop. Brennan loves to fill it with his toys and take it where ever he goes.
Outside on his tricycle bring his things with him.

Brennan climbed into Trevor's booster seat while Trevor was napping and I was cutting out fabric. It was a perfect place for him to sit and eat his lunch. I loved that his food didn't get on the table where I was working.  Kind of funny. He likes to buckle himself but can't unbuckle the buckles yet.
The Tin Man at the museum (I know this is totally blurry, he wouldn't stand still for me to take a picture). He also tried on the Lion suit and roared very load!! ha ha his new favorite animal to pretent to be.
At the zoo with the boys. The polar bears were a hit. Brennan looked at their mouths and asked me if they were just pretend. After I told him they were he happily ran closer and played all over them. Trevor kept making his doggy noise and loves them too!
Spider web at the Zoo. He wanted to hold that spot until I took a picture.
Play group at the park across the street from our house. Brennan is just a bit shorter than his friends ;)
Talking a walk at Seneca Park. It was actually a cold day (sunny, but cold). I wanted to keep walking to stay warm (because I hadn't dressed warm enough) but Brennan just wanted to stop and see the ducks and geese. He loves animals and observing them.

New Door

Remember this post? Well, Logan really did finish the door. I didn't include the final picture in the previous post. We love it. The door is now air tight and locks wonderfully.

Deck Railings

Logan ripped down our old "not up to code" deck railings and replaced it with this beauty! He also added some lattice under the deck. We still need to paint/stain it as well as the deck. The boards on the end still need to be taken off (no they aren't permanent).
Logan also added a nice gate to keep the kids in :) Now they can happily play outside while I'm cooking in the kitchen.
Sunday was such a beautiful day that we pulled out our patio furniture and enjoyed lunch on the deck.

Garden Boxes

We've missed having a garden for the past 2 summers. We had a beautiful garden when we were in Madison. Because we were moving two summers in a row we weren't able to plant anything.  This year Logan made us some garden boxes. We had a 4 yards of top soil delivered to our driveway to fill them up. It was a lot of work! I was pretty sore the next day. It was actually fun to see the pile shrink while we worked together to shovel the dirt into the boxes. I don't have any pictures of me working, but I was there.

Trevor LOVED the dirt. Do did Brennan.

Here are our beautiful garden boxes complete with plants growing inside. It's exciting to have our own garden once again.  We'll have to keep pictures coming as they plants grow bigger. Let's hope that's what happens anyway.

Fence!

I feel like every free time Logan gets he's working on a project for our house. A few weeks ago was our fence! We have a wood fence around our back yard, but it wasn't complete. There was an open spot near the garage and the it ended next to our house on the other side of the driveway.
Logan did a great job of creating a gate to get back behind our garage. It is our property back there, so we needed a way to access it. You can tell where the new fence and old fence meet.  We have yet to get rid of the "white trash" pile we have accumulating in front of the fence. Garbage day is tomorrow and with some help Logan and I will take it out front.
You can see here how Logan continued the fence up our driveway and created a gate to cross our driveway. Now our yard is all sealed off :) Now Trevor can't walk away. Brennan on the other hand knows how to open the gate very well. He's better about knowing to stay in the back yard though.
Check out the nice little fence part under our house overhang! Love it.

Palmyra NY

Logan has had every Friday off this month. He didn't use any of his vacation for the year (besides during our OBX Thanksgiving trip) until now. It's been nice for him to be home each Friday and spend time as a family and get things done around the house.

This week we needed to take Jana's can back to her. I drove it home from her house last weekend on my way home from NYC. We drove it to the outlets, where we left it for her, and then went on a "hike" through the Sacred Grove in Palmyra NY. It was a beautiful 80 degrees! Dry beautiful weather.
Brennan ran through the trail the whole time directing us which way to go. Each time he saw a bench he would say, "Everyone, everyone." Meaning for us to all come and sit down. I'm not sure where he got that but it was pretty funny.
Brennan learned he was scared of bees during this trip. Below he he standing with his arms close to his body because he heard a buzzing bee. He would also scream very loud if anything flew by his face. Hmm, we might need to get him out in the woods more.

Brennan started out our walk with M&M's in his little Altoids container. He held them tightly in his hand as he ran down the trails. We took a small break and he decided to open his container. He paused a bit when the M&M's he put in didn't look the same as the M&M's he wanted to eat. Logan and I laughed at the melted M&M's.

We loved the vast amount of trees. Even though there were few and small leaves, we were getting plenty of cool shade.

Trevor loves dandy lions just like Brennan did at that age.

Just hanging out on the grass eating left over Easter candy. Trevor sure loves candy just like the rest of us :/

Trevor's crazy fuzz hair. It always sticks up because it's so thin! These were good back lit pictures to capture the fuzz.

 Check out that hair!
This boy loves to be thrown up in the air. He gets mad when Logan stops.
